The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an active shooter incident at Morgan State University (MSU) on Tuesday night.
After 9 p.m., BPD and medics were requested to the 1700 block of East Cold Spring Lane.
Responding officers then responded to the 1700 block of Argonne Drive, which is adjacent to the MSU campus.
A spokesperson for the BPD said at least four people were shot, and the shooter was still on campus. After 11:30 p.m., the BPD said there was no longer an active shooter threat to the campus community.
It is unknown at this time if the victims are students or members of the MSU community. The conditions of the victims are unknown.
There are also no suspect details available at this time.
MSU issued an alert on social media.
The ATF Field Office in Baltimore responded to the scene of the shooting as well.
Police advise the public to avoid the area near MSU, and have offered a location a BPD officer will be available.
