BALTIMORE, Maryland (FMG WIRE) – During the Runway International Fashion Awards, the founder of alkeBULANPrints, Delight Dzansi, shared insights into a distinctive design created from Khutbah, also known as Kente fabric.
“This textile, originally handwoven, served as the foundational material for their creation,” she told The African Press.
Typically, Khutbah is utilized for bridal attire, but the designer decided to infuse their unique touch into the design.

The designer expressed her profound appreciation for the 2023 Runway International Fashion Awards ‘Makeup Artist of the Year’ winner Juliana Yates, who adorned the garment, effectively representing their brand and its core values.
